From Day 102 of my Drawn To Canada series.
The hoodoos, coulees, and fossil beds of the Drumheller’s Badlands have helped make the province a global centre for dinosaur research. Home to the Royal Tyrrell Museum, the region reflects Canadian commitments to scientific discovery, stewardship of the natural world, and public access to knowledge. The museum is home to Black Beauty, one of the world’s most famous and best-preserved Tyrannosaurus rex skeletons, known for its distinctive dark colouring.
