Sticker - Toque

The toque might be the most Canadian thing you can put on your head. Practical, unfussy, and strangely stylish, it’s the winter uniform from Victoria to St. John’s. The word comes from the French “tuque,” used in Quebec long before it was adopted coast to coast. Today, Canadians spell it three ways: toque, tuque, or touque. Like many things Canadian, the answer depends on where you’re from, though the Canadian Oxford English Dictionary declares “toque” to be correct.
